On June 25-26, 2018 the members of the N.M.R.H.A cleared out the equipment and O gauge modular pieces in the old building and moved everything into our new location, 36184 County Road 66, Crosslake, MN. The location is in the lower area of a retail building, directly across the street from Zorba's Pizza. Plans for the restoration of the O gauge layout and construction of the G scale layout began immediately. The plans for the HO, Office, shop area are on hold.

At about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, June 29th, our President, Gary Phillips, was rousted out of bed by a phone call from the fire department telling him that our new location was on fire.

The cause of the fire was overheated wiring to an air conditioning unit. The combination of heat, smoke and water damage ruined our well laid plans.

Currently we are planning on working with the building owner to potentially rebuild in the same location to make Northern Minnesota Railroad Heritage Association great again!

We will keep you updated on our progress.
